Publishing an article
Depending on the publish channel your publication is connected to, the option to publish from inside the Article Builder may be available. If the publish button is visible, it can be used to publish the current article to your publishing platform.
To publish an article
- Click the 'Publish' button at the top right of the article builder menu.
- The 'Publish Article' window will be displayed.
- Click 'Publish'. A process indicator will be displayed while the article is being published.
- Once the article has completed publishing, a success prompt will be displayed.
- Click 'OK' to close the window.
Notes:
- Publishing an article will automatically save the article to ensure the latest version is always published.
- The exact result of publishing will depend on the currently connected channel and also how it is internally configured.
- Regularly saving your work is strongly recommended to avoid losing any work.
